Betty Goodman

Read the composition written by Betty Goodman .

From the introduction:

The following was written by Betty Einbinder Goodman who came to the U.S. from Stavischt, Russia in 1923. Her mother was a first cousin of the 9 Postrel brothers and sisters. Betty received an A+ for this compiosition written in Room 21, Washington School, Grade 8, May 14, 1926.

No doubt her mother, Frima, was very pleased. WIth the exception of some spelling corrections (but not all, so that some of the flavor is preserved), this composition is as Betty write it many years ago in Boston.
